Teen pop sensation Miley Cyrus is under fire once more - this time over a tattoo she has been seen sporting on a beach in Florida.

The tattoo, which sits just below the 17-year-old's bustline, carries the words "just breathe".

It is illegal to get a tattoo in the US unless you are aged 18 or over.

One fan's blog is suggesting the ink-work is in memory of a nine-year-old girl called Vanessa who passed away from cystic fibrosis in 2007.

Cyrus met Vanessa at a Los Angeles hospital and instantly connected with her, describing her as one of her best friends.

It is been a year since controversy erupted after the star posed in nothing but a sheet for Vanity Fair magazine.

Half-naked photographs of her were also leaked onto the internet.

Miley Cyrus' family and friends, including Billy Ray, think her current boyfriend Liam Hemsworth is controlling her, according to National Enquirer. A friend revealed: 'She's completely taken with him. Miley hands on his everyword and will pretty much do anything he tells her to do.'

Miley admitted that she closed her Twitter account to help keep her relationship with the Liam private: 'Miley's family and friend like Liam well enough, and they're happy he makes her so happy. But they don't like the hold he's gotten on her so quickly. They think it's unhealthy. It's a case of too much, too soon.'

They also think Liam is a rebound relationship for Miley, but it's clear that her makes her happy. Miley recently explained: 'All you want is for one person to say, 'You did a really good job today.' Or 'You look really beautiful,' or 'I was really moved by that.' You just want one person to make you feel good about something you're doing. Liam has been a big part of that.

We spoke to multiple people connected to the 21-and-over Club LIV at the Fontainebleau hotel -- including a manager, an owner and a rep -- who all told us Miley and her posse showed up to party at the hotspot like they were adults.

They all told us Miley was turned away at the door because she obviously didn't meet the age requirement ... despite the fact that she has the voice of an 81-year-old chain smoker.

Miley's rep tells us this didn't happen ... even though it wouldn't be the 17-year-old singer's first time at a bar.

Selena Gomez: The little girls in this episode were big fans of the show. They didn't know where they were going and they just pulled up [to the Wizards set] and were completely surprised. We gave them a huge tour of the set. It was awesome.

TVGuide.com: What was it like to be a part of something so special?
Gomez: That's one of my mom's favorite shows — she cries every time. We've always watched, so it was an honor.
